Research downtown Elgin, the Elgin Depot Museum and local dining for closer outings. Check the organizer’s current calendar for markets or festivals. For Austin venues, tours or live music, confirm the actual address, operating hours, tickets and parking.
Bastrop, McKinney Falls, Inks Lake and more distant Garner State Park require separate route and access planning. Check official current alerts, activity rules, reservations and weather information. Scenic routes or Hill Country towns are not automatically practical day trips from Elgin. For Fredericksburg, Dripping Springs or another wine destination, confirm venue arrangements and the return-trip plan.
Give management the arrival and departure dates, RV length and height, slides, electrical needs, occupants, pets, vehicles and any trailer. Confirm the available site’s fit, connections, approach, parking and arrival instructions before traveling. Ask management about the approval requirements for your rig before payment.
Request an itemized quote covering rent, utilities, taxes, deposits, extra people or vehicles and other fees. Confirm the billing period, minimum stay and extension process. Discuss internet coverage, laundry access and charges, mail arrangements, quiet hours and support contacts rather than assuming free services, prompt maintenance, guaranteed security or restful nights.
Every monthly reservation requires a $75 deposit. A deposit refund requires a written request within 3 days of departure, a photo showing the site left clean and management approval. Confirm the correct park email before sending a request.
Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing by email to the park. Cancellation 14 or more days before scheduled arrival qualifies for a full rent refund under the refund policy; cancellation less than 14 days before arrival and no-shows do not. Guests may request rescheduling, but approval is not guaranteed. Once a stay begins, all lot rent is non-refundable, including early departure or a shortened stay. Refunds go to the original payment card, not by check; if that card is lost, cancelled or no longer active, the park cannot process the refund. Confirm separate platform charges and existing reservation terms with management.
